One of the most underrated things in Bangkok is it's old architecture & design. Since it is infamous for a lot of things and with a whole Hangover movie, it’s difficult to see it in a different light

Very few cultures have mastered working with gold. The shiny yellow color usually overshadows anything you add to it. But the Thai culture seems to have mastered it.

Also, Thai architecture is very good with symmetry

On the famous backpacker street of Khao San Road, you can meet people from around the world. There is also adventurous food out there if you fancy some mealworms, scorpions, cockroaches, spiders and such
