As soon as you enter, you are immersed in incredible colors and lighting that all comes together perfectly.

Flowers and peacock feathers seems to be the clear inspiration for the side balcony seating lighting.

It's when you get upstairs that you can witness the full extend of artistic awe. This was designed by the Spanish architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner. He won the award for this as the best built building in 1908 and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The concert hall roof is definitely the star. Palau de la Música Catalana is still functioning to this day. You can watch musical performances here while stilling below this amazing roof
Pont del Bisbe
Not far from the Palau de la Música Catalana is the Gothic quarter. Where you can see some of the works of other artists on the streets.
Gothic Quarter
This is where gargoyles rule the land, always watching you from the high towers. The Picasso museum is also a short walk from here.
College of Architects of Catalonia
In the Gothic Quarter, you can also see this giant sculpture made by Norwegian artist Carl Nesjar according to original drawings by Picasso.
